Some quick Google-fu also gives me a site that doesn't seem to make you go trhough the steam hoops:
http://pz-mods.net/
Nexusmods should be of some help too.
While I agree that having to work around steam to get your mods/maps is a bore and shouldn't be necessary (I have a strict no-steam policy myself), I also can see how it's not the devs' fault or problem where people choose to upload their mods, nor it should be. On the other hand I do think there should be a GOG link in the game's main site, not just the steam one currently there and GOG mentioned almost like an afterthought in a forum post -wow, I've just noticed that even the 'Buy and download' section only gives the steam and humble links-.
Thanks anyway for your help
if there's a mod you'd like to try that is workshop exclusive, just message the mod author or post in their thread. Most of them are active on the theindiestone.com forum. For example, Hydrocraft posts his mod here: http://pz-mods.net/weapons-items/Hydrocraft/ despite it also being in Workshop.

It said that you disabled the downloading option. Can you take a look about that steam workshop options? it's for GOG users :)
We'll continue to have a snoop around in the options though - since if it *is* something we can enable to help GOG users, we definitely will. In the meantime, as Enigma says, the best bet is to contact the mod creators directly and request an alternate upload site such as Nexus or our own forum.
I suspect that there is some circumvention of Workshop going on by that site you linked to - in other words, the option which would allow that site to fetch Workshop items is probably not called, 'allow downloads from non-logged in Users'. It'll be something else that just happens to *also* allow that and therefore it'll be a difficult option to find, if it even exists in a global sense (i.e. not set by individual mod uploaders).

Please, make a way to import or download steam workshop mods, because I can't download there if I don't own the game on steam (I have it here. on GOG only)
I need this because almost all new version of the maps/mods are only on STEAM (including maps from the DEVELOPERS) and they don't provide an NON-STEAM version link for download.
I feel that I made a bad decision buying the game here instead of steam :(

It's the responsibilty of the modder to upload their mods elsewhere, if they so choose. We'll not force them to do so. I need this because almost all new version of the maps/mods are only on STEAM (including maps from the DEVELOPERS) and they don't provide an NON-STEAM version link for download.

The problem is that your own DEVS are promoting steam maps instead of an agnostic plataform (or GOG)

And? Workshop is simply easier than the previous method of manually updating archives to unscrupulous hosts andhaving to walk people through archives, folder usage, and copy + pasting files. I'm not going to begrudge anyone that chooses to use Workshop over another approach. We cannot compel modders to provide an alternative, and will not. for example: RingoD123 (theindiestone.com forums user) and his Bedford Falls V3 map
Feel free to ask RingoD123 if he'd consider uploading an archive of Bedford Falls, though.

Oh, they're still endorsing the whole concept of DRM-locked modding? Yeah, so much for my purchase.
Anyway, while it's in a legal grey area (although definitely illegal if certain trade bills pass in the near future) to make use of them, there are means of bypassing the Steam Workshop DRM available - proxy downloaders like steamworkshopdownloader.com/, to name one obvious one.

Don't have to endorse anything: modders choose to upload their content where they like. That Steam Workshop happens to be one of the easier ways to distribute mods and has a larger audience than GoG, Desura, theindiestone.com, or pz-mods.net is just the way it is. It doesn't indicate endorsement in any way, and frankly, I'd like to see alternative methods be supported. I'm going to go out on a limb and simply say 'no, please ask the mod authors to provide an alternative download of their mod.' I know quite a few authors who'd be rather upset if we circumvented workshop, as is . . . but will forward it to the devs to get their opinion.

We've had a look and we can find no such option so I'm guessing this is something individual modders enable when they upload to Workshop. Just to clarify (Also not a dev, just tech support) we really aren't supporting any platform above any other for mods. We leave mod authors free to upload wherever they'd like to. To *not* let people put their stuff on the Workshop would be artificially limiting people, which- as I understand it- is what all the people who refuse to use Steam dislike- arbitrary limits.
We will neither arbitrarily limit people nor attempt to tell them where to put their mods. We'll do our best to have parity across our distribution platforms for the game itself, but we certainly don't want to tell modders what to do. I hope that's understandable.

This is my favourite topic
Project ZomboidProject Zomboid HospitalThis is a mod for the game Project Zomboid that adds an in-game map. Mad max fury road game free download.
Providing an in-game map with the following capabilities:
- Very important: NO RADAR MAP!
The map should not automatically show surroundings, player location, zombie location, etc. - Player must draw map
This is a direct result of the first bullet. The player must somehow actively engage in map drawing. This might be by manually dragging tiles, starting an action to draw the surroundings or even drawing surroundings while moving around (with limitations). - Map information is taken directly out of the running game
This means that destroyed buildings, player-built structures, etc. are correctly displayed on the map. - Fake drawing
Overriding the previous bullet, player may fake information on the map for Multiplayer-Role-Playing elements.
Project Zomboid Maps Download Pc
Collection of ideas that might be implemented one way or another
- Tile based road/floor drawing that gives it a pen drawn map look using high-contrast white-on-transparent PNG images and tinting
- Pen/Paper inventory item related drawing, while you walk around
- Spiffos having a 'you are here' that updates your map with the area, etc
Somewhat similiar to the map drawing in Miasmata - Possibility of finding segments of the map around the place
- Basic ability to add notes to a map at locations, tied to inventory item
- Copying of maps to hand to other people, copying map + markers
